Supporters gathered at the SA Parliament House Steps, Corner of North Terrace and King William St, Adelaide
About 50 people came including supporters from the Romero Community – withits founder Sr Janet Mead – and members of the Labour History of SA.
Speakers included:
* the Hon Sandra Kanck – former AD MLC in the SA Parliament and a Patron of AETFA SA
* Emeritus Prof. Rick Sarre – president of the CCL SA and an ALP candidate for federal Parliament
* Helen Lawry – Stay Human Project (a group supporting Julian Assange) and a member of the Romero Community
* John Wishart – SA Organiser of the Greens
* Andy Alcock -AETFA SA Info officer
* Rosemary McKay
Mark Parnell – Greens MLC in the SA Parliament came out from a Parliamentary committee meeting to express solidarity
